The short version
Your food log, health goals, and personal data belong to you. We use it to provide and improve the service. We do not sell it. We do not share it with advertisers. You can export or delete everything at any time.
Data we collect
Account info (email, name), food log entries, nutrition scores, health goals and conditions you declare, photos you upload for meal capture, check-in data (weight, lab values, GLP-1 logs), and usage analytics (page views, feature usage, crash reports).
How we use it
To operate the service, personalise your nutrition scores and recommendations, improve our scoring models (using aggregate, anonymised signals only), send you product updates you opt into, and provide customer support.
Data sharing
We share data with: infrastructure providers (hosting, database, CDN) under data processing agreements; payment processor (Stripe) for billing; analytics providers (aggregate, non-identifiable data only). We never share your food log or health data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketers.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from Settings → Data. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR. Contact privacy@wellsignal.co to exercise them.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and a session cookie for the app. We use a first-party analytics cookie (no third-party ad tracking). You can see our full cookie list at /cookies.
Children
WellSignal is not directed at children under 13. Household child profiles (added by a parent/guardian) do not display calorie counts or body-image-coded metrics. Parents can view and delete child profile data at any time.
